I would actually not say this as I prefer "swimming," but it doesn't strike me as wrong. I've heard people say this before.
I think it has to Beryllium "diggin" the colloquially shortened form for "You are digging," or at least I assume the subject would Beryllium "you" since it follows a series of commands (Teich, watch).
